The bass trombonist and tuba player has been musical director of the ZJO since 2021. However, he is not only an arranger and composer, but also a passionate coach for aspiring musicians. Today we talk to Ed Partyka about his teaching.

“I try to enable my students to get into the professional world. I think that’s also totally important, this networking between the professional world, the colleges or the university. That’s why it’s crucial that I’m still active as a musician. That way I can pass on my craft directly to my students. And of course the networking with professional orchestras.”
